For Active Adults new to Yoga.
Learn basic fundamentals of the yoga asanas, principles of alignment, & yoga philosophy. Shoulderstand is introduced. Plan to repeat many times. Classes are vigorous.
No Medical or Health concerns. |

Mixed Level: Beginners
|
Beginners & Intermediate Students will learn & work on the basic standing and seated asanas. Sarvangasana (shoulderstand) & Sirsasana (headstand) may be taught.
No Health or Medical concerns. Students should begin to practice at home to gain in benefit from weekly lesson. |

Intermediate: Prerequisite: 3rd year students
|
|
3 years minimum of Iyengar Yoga instruction. No Beginners. No Health or Medical concerns. Sarvangasana & Headstand (Sirsasana) are taught. Class is vigorous, students practice at home in between classes to keep up with class pace.

Continuing: Prerequisite: 4 years of Iyengar Yoga experience Note: Permission Required
|
| For Continuing Iyengar yoga students. Permission Required. No Health or Medical concerns. Students can hold a 5 minute Sarvangasana & can practice Sirsasana at the wall. Students practice at home to keep up with class pace. Classes are vigorous. Advanced inversions are taught. |
